We would like to wish the African diaspora across the world a very Happy Africa Day!
“The month of May marks Africa Month – a month for the continent to pause, reflect, commemorate and celebrate our Africanness, and to promote the African agenda that embraces peace and stability, democracy, non-racial, non-sexist, unity, and prosperity.” Nathi Mthethwa, former South African Minister of Police (2019)
Africa Day gives us the opportunity to celebrate the history of our continent, our heritage, and our culture. It is a day to feel proud of being African, as we all celebrate the foundation of the African Union (AU) in different ways.
The harsh financial reality putting a damper on all of this is that debt is currently invading South African – and African – households across the board. Do not allow your debt to get in the way of celebrating your country, continent – and life!
With Debtline, you can plan your way to an improved financial situation and come to withstand unexpected financially disruptive events. Reaching out to us is a proactive choice that will ensure that you find yourself in the best position for generations to come.
Our mission is to help you get closer to being able to celebrate true freedom by offering services such as personal finance rescue, credit monitoring, free credit reports, and more.
As we observe Africa Day this year, it is important that we remember our common African identity, promote the preservation and use of our indigenous dialects, deepen and expand our understanding of each other as Africans and express tolerance amongst ourselves. It is also important that we take the necessary steps to truly liberate and empower ourselves in all facets of life.
We are because you are, and our mission is to help you the best way we know how.
Happy Africa Day!
